Trips and Tours

2025 is here and we have some exciting trips coming up! Join us on Wednesday, January 22th for the Shawnee Mission Trips Travel Showcase. Can't make it to the show? Check back here for a link to the PowerPoint presentation on Friday, January 24th!

Explore with Shawnee Parks & Recreation and Shawnee Mission Trips! All trips depart from and return to the Shawnee Civic Centre, 13817 Johnson Drive. Each trip has its own individual registration and cancellation deadline. All trips must meet the minimum enrollment by the registration deadline, although many fill up prior to this date. If space remains, additional registrations may be taken until the trip is full. Cancellations will be accommodated as available. Many trips have deposits and deadlines that cannot be refunded. In the event that you need to cancel, we will make every attempt to issue any refunds that may still be available.

The Art of Basketball (Thursday, February 27)
Dive into the heart of basketball history and culture on this unforgettable day trip to Lawrence, KS! Start with a behind-the-scenes tour of the newly renovated Allen Fieldhouse, the epicenter of college basketball. In and Under Ground (April 29-30)
